The Battle is Over

The battle is over,
Yea the war has been won,
Our Father is mighty,
And the victor his son,

Our job, yea our duty,
Is to choose where we stand,
Whether with Satan,
Or with, God's great command.

The battle is over,
Come join with the ranks,
Our Father is mighty,
So in praise, let us thank.

Christ is our master,
But he still gives us choice,
Come partake of redemption,
Then stand and rejoice.

Don't Think of Death as Tragic

To think of death as tragic,
Is a common misconception,
To lay aside great pain,
And achieve our soul's redemption.

Most men don't fear death,
But fear to lose another,
It's one thing to die,
Another to lose your lover,

But love is not lost,
When we lose those we love,
For our lord will accept them,
In His royal courts above.

Time is our only battle,
The battle to win,
And if we o'er come it,
We'll see them live again!

The Point of This Fast

It's very odd to fast,
and give up that very food,
That nourishes the body,
and improves upon my mood.

So I'll pray with heart and mind,
Please Lord, calm this growl,
That grows within my gut,
And makes Me start to Howell.

And now i feel a calm,
That speaks peace, unto my soul,
The point of this fast,
is to make my heart grow whole.

So I'll say another prayer,
Lord bless those who dearly need,
Yea, orphans, widows, and the sick,
Who with thee, nightly plead,

Lord grant them quiet solace,
as grief they are adorning,
Yea lift them in their weakness,
And comfort them in mourning,

Golgatha's Hill

Upon Golgotha's hill,
Three crosses scarred the night,
For the world had killed a Man,
Who'll forever be clothed in white.

He took upon His back,
The sins of all mankind,
How could we kill the Man,
Who could even heal the blind?

But no man can stop the plan,
Or slow the work of God,
For Christ has conquered death,
Now with angels, He doth trod.

So with vigor I now pray,
That one day I may meet,
And with confidence stand,
Before the judgement seat.

sins remembered not

High on the mountain top,
I think about God's plan,
I think about the blood,
that was shed for every man,

High on the mountain top,
I pray for my own soul,
As i think of God's love,
I pray, that heaven is my goal,

High on the mountain top,
I hear the voice of God,
say think not of that blood,
and rest on heaven's sod,

For the blood has ever cleansed you,
So forgive yourself of sin,
For i remember not,
Come live with me again!

Hayleigh

The little girl that loves to smile,
was forced to grow beyond her years,
even so, she has not guile,
though her mother has cried too many tears.

Blood sugar checks done everyday,
some insulin to ease her strife,
they wish there was another way,
Type 1 diabetes is a way of life,

So they bow their heads at night to pray,
That someone might just find a cure,
so that little girl can run and play,
a childhood is their wish for her,

That little girl that loves to smile,
is more than just a girl these days,
she fights her fight, and wins with style,
even so, her mother still prays.

Be Ye Therefore Perfect

Be ye therefore perfect, what a daunting task.
You’ll find it in God’s service then in His glory bask.
In this you’ll find power to overcome all things.
In this you’ll find love, a love the Savior brings.

Be ye therefore humble, humble in the Lord.
Then go forth and serve God by spreading forth his word.
