To think of death as tragic,
Is a common misconception,
To lay aside great pain,
And achieve our soul's redemption.
Most men don't fear death,
But fear to lose another,
It's one thing to die,
Another to lose your lover,
But love is not lost,
When we lose those we love,
For our lord will accept them,
In His royal courts above.
Time is our only battle,
The battle to win,
And if we o'er come it,
We'll see them live again!
