Called to serve, the king of Kings,

To leave behind my worldly things,

To leave my home and serve abroad,

To bring all men to the iron rod,

Called to serve, the most high God,

To bring his sheep, to gospel Sod,

to go and serve my fellow man,

and tell the world of this happy plan,

Called to serve my heavenly father,

And leave behind all worldly bothers,

To leave behind the girls that love me,

And become the man they want to marry,

Called to serve with all my might,

and spread the words of truth and light,

to teach the people in my mission,

and bring to them a gospel vision,

Called to serve and serve some more,

to bear my heart to closing doors,

to lift up those who cannot rise,

and bring to them an eternal prize.
